We share resources from the Dose of Reality awareness campaign, WI Attorney General Brad Schimel's campaign to create awareness of prescription medication abuse.  Check out the official site to download videos, public service announcements, radio ads and toolkits for working with parents, senior citizens, coaches, doctors, patients and businesses. 

May 12 through 18, 2019 - “Inspiring Action. Changing Lives.” An annual week of activities dedicated to increasing public awareness mental health and/or substance use disorders. DFC and other community agencies plan activities through the week.

DFC Coalition members and community partners plan activities and awareness campaigns supporting some of the National days and weeks.

National Meth Awareness Day: November 30, 2018

National Drug & Alcohol Facts Week: January 22-27, 2019

National Kick Butts Day: March 20, 2019

Alcohol Awareness Month: every April

National Night Out: first Tuesday of every August

National Recovery Month: every September

Nation Red Ribbon Week: October 23-31 of every year

National Medicine Abuse Awareness Month: every October
