Date Set for 2024 Adrenaline Races
Registration is open for Elevate’s Under the Influence of Adrenaline Races on Saturday, July 13, 2024.
The course includes a 5K run or walk, a 10K, half and full marathon. The races are out and back runs on the beautiful Eisenbahn Trail beginning near downtown West Bend, traveling north. Register today at www.adrenalineraces.org

A team is a great way for businesses to rally employees around a great community cause. It can also be the perfect way for families to honor someone lost to addiction or mental illness or perhaps to celebrate the success of their recovery.
Create a Sponsored Team for just $500. Up to 20 runners/walkers may then register online for the 5K and 10K distances for this cost. Once the team captain creates the team during registration, names it and chooses a password, the captain will then share the team name and password with teammates who may register themselves as a member of the team at no additional cost. SHEBOYGAN CALM HARBOR NEEDS YOUR HELP!
Picture for a moment a time when you felt alone, helpless, and without hope for the future. Can you remember the pain? The loneliness? Do you remember how you fought against these overwhelming feelings? Perhaps your family or friends were there to help. Perhaps you had the resources to get professional help.
Now, put yourself in the shoes of someone who couldn’t pull themselves out of that despair. Statistically, there is a strong likelihood that someone you know couldn’t deal with the pain and so they attempted to or took their own life. Their hopelessness overwhelmed them to the point where they felt they had no other option. What if you could have provided them with an option—an option that gave them hope—that saved their life.
In 2019, Elevate became Sheboygan County’s only provider of temporary residential care for those experiencing a mental health crisis or substance abuse. Calm Harbor, our crisis stabilization residence, provides a safe haven for people to stay and resources to help them resolve their crisis. Calm Harbor is an alternative to a behavioral health hospital, which provides a higher level of medical care than is often needed.
Elevate is in the planning phase of moving its Calm Harbor residence for adults experiencing a mental health crisis. Under a new agreement with Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Milwaukee, the short-term residential facility will relocate to a shared space currently owned by Catholic Charities at 503 Wisconsin Avenue, in downtown Sheboygan.
Elevate will move Calm Harbor to this site once renovations have been completed. The new residence will provide improved security for residents as well as necessary environmental improvements for up to ten adults at a time. It will feature a communal living and dining room with shared bedrooms and an outdoor living/recreational space.
