State Opioid Response (SOR) Finance Request

Grant funding available for the Waukesha County Heroin Task Force community planners & action teams to advance our coalition’s goals in Waukesha County.

Eligible SOR Strategies

  • Drug takeback events

  • Permanent disposable box(es)

  • Prevention community education event(s)

  • Overdose prevention community education event(s)

  • Staff time

  • School-based prevention programming

Important Funding Guidelines

  • Food/drink costs NOT reimbursable

  • No lobbying or promotional items (including t-shirts)

  • Stipends/incentives: up to $25/day per person

  • Postage and printing costs covered

Timeline

  • Valid expenses from January 1, 2026, to August 31, 2026

  • Last submission: August 15, 2026

Application Process

  1. Submit online form

  2. Team will review within 5 calendar days

  3. Response within 10 working days

  4. Approved requests will receive data collection requirements

  5. Requests needing more info: 7 days to provide documentation
