Special Guest Speakers and Panelists
We welcome Dr. Hillary Tamar (from Community Medical Services, CMS) and Dr. Kristen Fox (from ProHealth Care) as our guest presenters and panelists for the June 11th Waukesha County Heroin Task Force Community Partners Meeting. Our guest physicians are both board certified in addiction medicine and specialize in working with Medications for Opioid Use Disorder (MOUD).
Dr. Tamar will provide information on Person First language, MOUD options, and recommendations for how to collaborate with MOUD providers.
Dr. Fox works with women in recovery who are pregnant or recently given birth. She will focus on the challenges women struggling with Opioid Use Disorder face during pregnancy and postpartum.

2:00-2:25 p.m. - Consider joining Stephanie Engle, Social Worker and Coordinator for the Overdose Fatality Review (OFR), in making “Cards for a Cause.” Stephanie provides bereavement support to family members who lose a loved one. She is using these beautiful cards as part of the bereavement process. Come join us in creating these cards!

The Stigma Reduction Action Team is hiring a consultant to assist in developing a social media campaign on Linked In to reduce Stigma.
