This action team will work in collaboration with the Waukesha County Public Health Department and utilize a systems approach to address the social determinants of health. The focus of this action team is to look for opportunities to improve policies to support system level changes. This may include:

  • Educating policymakers and other influential stakeholders

  • Increasing targeted advocacy efforts

  • Addressing workforce challenges of Substance Use Disorder (SUD)

    professionals as capacity for services increases

  • Identify opportunities to improve policies in upstream work to support system level changes.
